What is Humulus U?

Humulus U is BSG's educational hop experience including an annual one-day hop symposium for professional brewers coinciding with harvest and selection in Washington's Yakima Valley. Humulus U helps provide deep technical education and knowledge on hops and interactions with other ingredients in your beer.

Humulus U webinars allow brewers to learn wherever they are, while the in-person Humulus U symposium draws attendees from all over the U.S. and Canada. The curriculum is different each year so there is always something new to learn!

Why attend?

The Humulus U symposium is held at the BSG Hops facility in Wapato, WA, where attendees get an up-close look at the journey of hops from field to the brewhouse. Each year, the roster of speakers draws on the industry's leading brewers, hop scientists, growers, and beyond.
